A new version of File Browser has been released. With this version you will be able to manage your files with your iPhone or with your internet browser. File Browser on its version 1.5 lets you Copy, Cut, Paste and Delete your files directly from the application and through your internet browser (to delete a file with your browser, select it and press “delete” key).
This version is compatible with Firefox, Safari, Netscape and Internet Explorer(File upload doesn’t work with it).
This version gives you the option to unZip and unRAR files directly from the File Browser interface. To make this possible you will need to install UnZip and UnRAR applications from Moyashi’s repo (add “hpcgi3.nifty.com/moyashi/ipodtouch/repository.cgi” to the intaller sources).
This application lets you search for files over your folders in a depth of 3 subfolders.
To use the file:// option, you will need to patch your Safari Browser installing the 1.1.3/4 Safari Patch from BigBoss Sources.
By the way, if you shake your iPhone when browsing around your library or folders, it will take you back to the parent directory. Simple but funny option, don’t think?
